I can't think of many things that are more fun and relaxing than being on a sailboat. A good friend and neighbor recently purchased a large catamaran located in the Northeast United States. Since he lives down the street from me in Galveston, he had the long task of getting the boat to it's new home here on the Gulf Coast.

Many months ago, he started taking a week or two at a time from work to sail the boat home. Along the way he'd invite friends and family to join him. We followed along on Facebook and as he got closer we were getting excited to see the new addition to the canal.

Eventually, it was just a matter of days before the boat was going to show up in the canal. That was when we got a message from the Captain. He invited my wife and I, other close friends and neigbors and a couple of family members to join him for the final leg of the journey. Needless to say, we were stoked to make the final leg with them.

Thanks Dave for the awesome day and we're excited about the new addition to the canal.
